Understanding Nei Gong

Nei Gong, often translated as ‘internal work’ or ‘internal skill,’ is an ancient Chinese practice with roots tracing back to the dawn of Taoist philosophy and Traditional Chinese Medicine. At the heart of Nei Gong is deep contemplation, meditation and connection. The mind’s chatter is calmed, as it learns to be still. Over time, emotional resilience is enhanced and we establish a deeper sense of contentment and awareness of self. When Nei Gong is paired with other disciplines like QiGong and TaiQi, it awakens one’s ability to see the sacred in others and look upon the world with a sense of wonder and reverence.

Circulating Health invites you to Rise, a year-long Nei Gong journey of transformation from within. Rooted in the ancient practice of Nei Gong and guided by circulating and integrative  health wisdom, this course is designed to awaken clarity, calm, and inner strength. It offers more than techniques, it points leads toward a transformative shift. A return to the rhythms of your breath, body, and being.

Each month, you’ll be a lead through a new theme accompanied by and flowing movement, grounding breathwork, calming meditations, and soul-stirring reflections. You’ll engage with nourishing discussions around energy and nutrition, and explore insights from both Eastern philosophy and Western depth psychology. Gentle yet profound, the practices help clear tension, cultivate energy (Qi), and open space for a more connected, conscious way of living.
